Ford has been one of the top major automakers worldwide ever since Henry Ford revolutionized the auto market more than a century ago in 1903 with his development of the assembly-line technique that allowed for faster and easier mass production of vehicles. From the very start, Ford showed that it was not afraid to take risks in order to improve its vehicles and encourage progress on the mainstream auto market as a whole. The family of Ford Hybrid and electric vehicles is proof of that.

Over the past several years, hybrid and electric vehicles have skyrocketed in popularity on the mainstream auto market. Many major automakers have added a variety of hybrid and electric models to their vehicle lineups in order to keep up with the growing consumer demand for these ultra-efficient vehicles. Ford has been at the forefront of the hybrid/electric vehicle revolution for many years and has established a family of hybrid and electric vehicles that are integral members of this major American automaker’s vehicle lineup.
