Sales Consultant Job Requirements:

  • Sales experience, preferably auto sales or similar
  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Must pass background check
  • Steady work history
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Communicating effectively in-person, over the phone, and email
  • Weekend Availability (average 2 Saturdays a month) and some evenings. If you are looking for an 8 t to 5 job, this isn’t it.
  • Attention to detail and following processes
  • Seeking out opportunities for self-development, participating in training and open to constructive feedback

Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch service throughout the customer buying experience.
  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss best vehicle options.
  • Commit to becoming an automotive expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles and technology.
  • Basic computer skills: using various provided software as selling tools.
  • Log interactions with customers in CRM and follow standard processes.
  • Maintain sales floor and lot, ensuring products are neatly displayed.
